# Document Layer 1.6.3 release

We are glad to announce that Document Layer 1.6.3 has been released! You can download binaries from [the foundation website](https://www.foundationdb.org/download/), or from [GitHub release page](https://github.com/FoundationDB/fdb-document-layer/releases/tag/1.6.3).

The new release comes with several important bug fixes and compatibility fixes/improvements. Please find the list of important change below:
