Hi,

Is anyone in this using minio on Azure for fdb backups? If so, are you using standalone product or the managed/paid Minio gateway ?

How are you getting past this issue?

As far as I know, minio has already switched to v4 and wouldn’t allow turning on v2 either (labeled insecure) [Allow use of Signature v2 in S3 gateway configuration · Issue #7961 · minio/minio · GitHub](https://github.com/minio/minio/issues/7961)

My repeated attempts end up with errors that look like

(e.g for file:///path/to/backup, permission of /path/to do matter) UPDATE: It seems that parent of parent directory affect the error. I’m trying to execute fdbbackup. Using the latest docker file of [Simple Dockerfile](https://forums.foundationdb.org/t/simple-dockerfile/280). Start a server. $ docker run --init --rm --name=fdb-a -v fdb-a:/var/lib/foundationdb hiroshi3110/foundationdb:5.1.5-1\_ubuntu-16.04 ./start.sh Configure new cluster. /etc/init.d/foundationdb: lin…

(No, I am not trying local filesystem unlike that thread)
and this error

After deployment , I used fdbcli to enter a few key values This is the command I used for starting a backup: fdbbackup start -d blobstore://key:secret@s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/fb1?bucket=foundationdbbackups --log -t test1 console output: ERROR: Could not create backup container: Operation timed out …
