This page [Configuration — FoundationDB ON documentation](https://apple.github.io/foundationdb/configuration.html#migrating-a-database-to-use-a-region-configuration) mentions that we can set `satellite_logs` at both the datacenter and the region level but it seems after looking at 1.52 code base that the operator only supports the region one.

I must confess that I’m a bit confused on why there is the possibility to have a satellite with more logs than another but also at the fact that the operator seems not to support it.

The operator doesn’t support this feature yet, because no one asked for it 🙂 I guess in theory this feature could be useful if you use different machine setup in the different DCs and therefore you might need more or less log processes in a specific DC.
