# Unable to get it running locally on macOS

I have found the solution thanks to @carhops!

adding `knob_min_available_space_ratio` worked as suggested in [How to run FoundationDB on a Mac? - #30 by carhops](https://forums.foundationdb.org/t/how-to-run-foundationdb-on-a-mac/3563/30)
