Fdbbackup to MinIO server

Hi,

I’ve setup backups to S3 services before without issues, I have recently tried to start a backup to an S3 service managed by MinIO server (not the MinIO gateway), and it keeps on failing with the following error reported by MinIO:

"Error parsing the Credential/X-Amz-Credential parameter; incorrect service. This endpoint belongs to "s3"."

Has anyone been successful in using a MinIO S3 service for backups?

Ok, it seems I’ve found and solved the issue. It was due to running an old version of FDB client which did not allow to specify the region parameter in the blobstore URL.

Updated to 7.1.35 and I was able to specify s3 as the region and MinIO stopped failing.

The version which was failing prior to that was a 7.1.31.
