FDB Backup, minio, and minio gateway (paid service)

Hi,

Is anyone in this using minio on Azure for fdb backups? If so, are you using standalone product or the managed/paid Minio gateway ?

How are you getting past this issue?

My repeated attempts end up with errors that look like

TL;DR fdbbackup seems to require permission for parent directory of a backup url. (e.g for file:///path/to/backup, permission of /path/to do matter) UPDATE: It seems that parent of parent directory affect the error. I’m trying to execute fdbbackup. "backup failure: Could not create backup container: Operation timed out" with version 6.3.9

I am using a Ubuntu 18.04 vm created by Vagrant and then deploying foundationdb-clients_6.3.9-1_amd64.deb and foundationdb-server_6.3.9-1_amd64.deb. I have not configured TLS on foundationdb.
