Why does the FDB repo limit the ability to comment or issue commits?

And you guys are not active on the forum anymore.
Is this project going to be closed-source?

There was some spammers posting random PRs and issues, so we limit the access to the repo. Maybe @ammolitor can add some of community members back for github access to the repo?

Anyway, the project is still ongoing and remains open-source.

Seconding @jzhou. This is a reaction to some GitHub accounts that were doing “research”. We are actively looking for a middle ground that will continue to allow open collaboration. This not a long term state.

so how can I report the problem(maybe with methods to solve) I found? I cannot make pull request and raise issue, and nobody replys my post in the forum.
