Can't install fdb package on macos - "This package is incompatible with this version of macOS."

I’m running into a weird error trying to install the latest version of foundationdb (FoundationDB-6.3.12) on the latest version of macos (11.3)

The shasum matches what is listed on the downloads website (93833b6...) Does anyone know whats going on here? Or how to debug the install script?

OS: macOS Big Sur 11.2.2 (20D80) Hardware: MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) W…hen attempting to install the `*.pkg` file on Apple Silicon, I get the following message: > The package is trying to install content to the system volume. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. I tried disabling System Integrity Protection and I get the same error message, sadly. I went to the trouble of bootstrapping Mono on my M1, and building FoundationDB from source to see if I could update the `*.pkg` file myself, but I don't see where the output volume is specified.

Ah thankyou - I evidently searched using the wrong part of the error message.
